Toronto Section Goes to A Class Launch
On November 14th, Mercedes-Benz Canada hosted a party for the over 2,000 of its closest young friends at the Toronto’s Rebel nightclub. The Toronto Section members were invited to view the introduction of the new A Class which previously only available in Europe although Canada has had the B Class since 2008. Traditionally the A Class was just a smaller version of the B Class but this Mercedes has been designed for the younger entry level market such as Section President Harald Von Langsdorff’s daughter Tanisha as exhibited in the new slogan “ Hey Mercedes” . The “Set the Mood “ theme offered customized features to help the Mercedes-Benz driver make the most of every moment of the day with 4 distinct moods –Up and At It, City Hustle, Escape the City and Night Drive.
Four models , an A 250 hatchback and a 4 Matic model were on display with standard features as panoramic sunroof, LED headlights, Mercedes Me connect (Mnc) and Dynamic Select. Loud music, great food and drinks were provided a well as individual photos of each guest in a “Hey Mercedes” booth .
The event culminated in the raising of the curtain on the 2 models as the crowd surged to take a seat of have pictures taken indicating that this model will be well received in this young diverse city.
